Rideable horses for DayZ. You’ll need the right gear, and you’ll still get punished for smashing into trees at full speed.

Quick start
- Ride requirements: You need a Saddle and a Bridle.
- Claim ownership: Put the saddle in your hands and attach it to the horse.
- Calling your horse: Use an apple to call your owned horse.
- Baiting/leading: You can also use an apple to lure a horse even before you’ve got a saddle.
Controls & mechanics
- Movement: WSAD
- Speed: Mouse wheel (horse has stamina, so sprinting doesn’t last forever)
- Jump: Space
- Vehicles vs. horses: If you hit obstacles, you can get dismounted.
- Stables: You can craft a stable kit and build a stable for your horses.
Pro tip: in Project DayZ, being loud is a choice. Riding is fast — it’s not quiet.
